I didn't have any problem with the reset button. I loved this Gaiam pedometer until it fell of my waistband of my pants and broke. The peodometer was great while it lasted. You just have to move it off of the steps counted and that locks in the numbers so they aren't changed. The waistband clip needs to be improved or a lanyard added so when it slips off the waistband it doesn't hit the ground.
I actually ordered two of these, and neither one worked. Amazon return was great, and they credited my account right away.
it's really easy to reset your steps without meaning to due to the location of the reset button and the pedometer easily falls off my waistband while walking. i love gaiam products (was introduced through their pilates series) so this isnt a negative on the company. the pedometer just isn't what i thought it would be. i found it much easier to attach to my belt or put in the pocket of my pants and sometimes would attach it to the chest strap on my backpack (still got accurate reading). good product, i just wish they'd move the reset button or make it harder to reset the object.
I bought three of these for Christmas, and we are all having a difficult time getting them to work correctly. Unfortunately, becuase it is so sensitive and often quite inaccurate, we aren't using them like I hoped we would. There is a button on the back of the item that allows you to control the sensitivity if the machine is counting too little or too many steps. If you push it too far to the left, it doesn't count enough, and if you push it too far to the right, then it counts a ton of steps. Also, the button to "clear" the amount of steps is too easy to accidentally knock and clear the data for the day/workout. I wouldn't recommend this product.
The result is an intense workout that leaves you feeling energized and proud of your accomplishment. If you're looking for an awesome workout that leaves you refreshed and invigorated, you've got to buy this CD. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who would like a guided walking workout. From this CD, I learned that I don't have to work harder and harder to see results. I simply have to work more efficiently, and Debbie Rocker makes this happen by guiding your heart rate up and down in various intensities.just when you think you can't handle the intensity, she takes you into a "recovery," where she gently and briefly brings your heart rate down so that you're ready for the next level of intensity. I simply can't say enough good things about it. Buy it today.
